Continuation in the conversation which Tom had with Mary in Part 1.
... ask...
''I no longer have any confidence in myself.'' Mary said.
Once again, Tom's heart ached.
Hanging on to that desperate strand of hope, Tom wasnt about to give up this time.
He wanted Mary to have confidence in him again.
He believed that this situation could be salvaged.
For once, Tom was daring.
Had he been so desperate that he thought he had nothing to lose?
Then he began saying what he never had courage to say before.
''Has everything that happened before mean nothing to you?''
''I need a chance. Just one.''
Mary was astounded.
*FLASHBACK*
Mary's popularity was suprisingly low with the girls in school.
This was due to her rejection of many guys.
The girls were jealous of her.
''Who does she think she is, playing so hard to get.''
These were the words of her so-called friend.
Mary cried hearing such words, but she had no one else to confide in other than Tom.
When she needed him the most, he was there.
He was there consoling her.
''Whenever you need me, I'll be there for you.''
These were the exact words of Tom.
Till now, these words still resound in Mary's head.
But she was unable to make a decision.
Perhaps the disappointment she suffered had deep-reaching effects.
She was uncertain.
......
Analytical Point Of View.Perhaps there are no second chances.
Doubts have to be cleared no matter what.
Everything comes with a price.
finally i try to face up to my emotions.
yet it aint as promising as it first seemed.
why is it happening again?
perhaps the change shudnt have been made afterall. are you trying to show something?
show that i should back off?
or to agitate me to push on?
